Wiring Help

Thanks to some busy mice I need to do some splicing and soldering on the wires to my OPS and boost sensor(the little black box on top of the intake). Do I need to disconnect the batteries or do anything special electrically before I solder?

I'd suggest turn Ig Sw 'off', disconnect both batteries, and connect a conductive wire from a battery ground(block ground) to the tip of the iron, particularly if the iron is electrically heated. Probably overkill, but safe!

Unplug the many-conductor plugs at the back of the engine valley. That'll isolate the engine wiring harnesses from the rest of the electrical system.
