Engine Stand Q'

Will at 1000lbs. engine stand hold a 6.2 or would I need bigger?

Seems like a dressed 6.2/6.5 is pretty close to that half ton mark and a little extra beef would be a good thing.

I bought one of the "economy" type stands. Knowing that it was cheap, I went for the 1250lb rated version. Wasn't the best investment I ever made - it really couldn't handle the weight of the engine and I had to put a support under the end of the crank when I was working on the engine. A higher $$ stand probably would have been OK.
