Just got my new Summit Racing Equipment catalog, and on page 5 they are selling the original OPTIMA red top batteries, regularly $129.69 for $88.35 each, limit TWO to a customer. What a coincidence -- our diesel trucks need exactly two batteries.
Summit says this special price is only good until October 31, 2003. Summit offers "free shipping" but they do have a Handling Charge of $8.45 per order. Still less than the sales tax on two batteries in most states.
If you don't have a Summit catalog, call 800-230-3030. If the clerk asks for a "source code", the number in the yellow box on the back of my catalog is N15102.
I have no relationship with Summit, just passing along a good deal for those who may be interested.
