I was getting my block ready to put the heads on when i found #8 piston wasn't coming up flush with the deck.It stops aprox 1mm below the rest.It's been like this for a while as the carbon mark is lower than the rest.I found this out right befor i had to leave for the night.
My Quess is the rod must be bent.
I will be pulling the pan off when i get some free time.
My Question is..How many different conecting rods were used over the years?Whats the interchangeability with the 6.5"s.
Any advice or sugestions while i have the pan off?
