new to diesels

[3500HD]

Recently bought a 96 3500HD (128k) ran good first week changed oil & filters started smoking 2 days later. finelaly found bad vacume pump -replaced. Also getting some water in fuel and have changed oil twice this week due to fuel in it. Any suggestions app, Thanks 3500HD

You might want to post your question on the 6.5L Turbo Diesel forum. Dr. Lee knows all, but he doesn't own a truck like yours - his is a 1984 C10 with probably the nicest 6.2 ever built. If you post in the 6.5L Turbo Diesel forum, there are a few thousand of us who will see your topic, & hopefully help. ;)

Sorry - I've never had a water-in-fuel problem myself, so can't help with that.
