The new motor is getting about 3mpg less than the earlier motor and Juice is getting 30 ft lbs less torque and 10 less hp. 50 to 80 mph on the dyno. Can you tell me what is going on.

I wish I could help, but I restrict my advice to the topics I know, mostly pre-computer (i.e. before 1994) diesel trucks. If you have not already done so, post your question on one of the Duramax forums, and let the guys who know about these new trucks help you figure out why GM seems to be making progress backwards, at least in your case.
