Been wondering if returning the oil to the oil fill tube from a by pass oil filtration set-up would pose any problems. Will the steady stream of returning oil interfere with anything?

Thanks Doc.

With your '93 truck, the oil fill tube is a good candidate for modification to accept the bypass return oil. Unlike earlier (non-turbo) trucks, your does NOT have the CDR connected to the oil fill tube. On those early trucks (like mine was) if you dumped the return oil in the oil fill tube, a lot of it would be sucked into the CDR, and then into the air intake. Made a mess, and jacked up the oil consumption, too.

Several members have brazed a small tube into the side of the larger oil fill tube and used this as a bypass filter return location. Welcome to the bypass filter club.
