Since new, I have had excessive powertrain (engine) vibration in the cab of my 04 Duramax GMC. It is most noticeable at the steering wheel and brake pedal when idling. The dealer says this is normal. I don't agree. Feels like an engine mount is faulty or some plumbing is touching the engine. I believe that it triggered a bout of carpel tunnel syndrome last winter - the first and only time that I have had this problem. I am now careful to not drape my wrist over the wheel. Has anyone experienced this problem or is obvious vibration normal with a Duramax?
