I have found the Code that is causing the Check Engine light to come on in my 1994 Chevy 3500 6.5 TD. The code is DTC 35, Injection Pulse Width Error (Response Time Short). What does it mean and what do i need to do to correct it?

Good Day!

You might want to look at DTC 35 - Help! (http://forum.thedieselpage.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=004386#000000) (Click in colored text.)

You might want to post your question on the 6.5L Turbo Diesel forum. Dr. Lee knows all, but he doesn't own a truck like yours - his is a 1984 C10 with probably the nicest 6.2 ever built. If you post in the 6.5L Turbo Diesel forum, there are a few thousand of us who will see your topic, & hopefully help. ;)

OK, another thought: click on "my profile" & let us know what year, etc. truck you are talking about. It's handy, because you don't have to remember to do it, it shows up at the bottom of all your posts automatically. smile.gif

Moondoggie,

*****THANK YOU*********

Two nights ago I was cussing like the kid from the movie "A Christmas Story" at DTC 35 and now i am jumping up and down smiling after finding out all of the information. I am having all of the same issues described. I plan on replacing all of the grounds this weekend, I will let you know how it goes.
