Bolt Torque

Hi,
Looking for some illusive info, need the torque for the starter motor mount bolts. Can't find any reference in the Maintenance Manual and none of the local Parts Stores could help. Thought it would be a given number with the aluminum housing, maybe not. :confused:

Starter motor torque specs are 30-40lbft, make sure to equally torque both bolts ( put anti-sieze on the bolts, helpful if one happens to break). Remember to torque the front starter to engine bracket.
When doing an oil change and chassis lube check the starter bolt torque as well,(easy preventative maintenance).
