I am curious as to what one will put down to the tires in stock trim. I'm hosting a Dyno Day in Corona CA with a group price of $40/3 pulls at Brothers Performance.

This is not a business ad, I am just a car racer who sets up a few dyno days a year, then I post the results on the internet. I will try to find a Ford 6.0 too if possible.

Oh well. I kinda wanted it posted in an area where SoCal people read. If I get my truck by Nov 22, I'll run it, but I don't think it will make it.

I'd like to go. Corona is right up the road from me, and it sounds like it would be fun. Be sure to post again if the event is confirmed.

I'll come, keep us posted as to when we can sign up,your software was F'ed up when I tried earlier.I'm hoping that just because yours is late you'll still be interested in seeing what a few different combo,s can do for yours and make it happen anyway. It would be kinda nice to hook-up with some local enthusiasts.

Right now I have plans to be out of town that weekend but if things change I sure would like to run the truck.

We are confirmed for Nov 22 at Brothers in Corona at 9:00am:

HOWEVER!!!!

I found that they don't have an "optical tach sensor". It's about a $1700 upgrade in software and hardware.

What does that mean? You can get RWHP vs. MPH out of a diesel, but you can't get RWTQ or RPM directly off the dyno.

I can calculate RWTQ, if you know either:

RPM at 60 mph in 4th gear, OR
Tire dia, rear ratio, and trans ratio (usually 1:1).

If calculated torque is OK, feel free to sign up. You WILL get HP no matter what.

PS - Follow the link for info and to sign up. I usually let 30 vehicles sign up for the 25 slots due to "no-shows".
