Should I put the poly urethane bushings in there or just get the factory kind. I am going to change them when I do the upper ball joints AGAIN. I replaced the joints at about 85K and they need it again at 117K . I thought these things lasted longer than that. Maybe I bougt cheap ones I can`t remeber.

I just changed my upper ball joints at 100,000 miles. Do you grease them yourself or go to a quick lube? If you do need ball joints and upper bushings , price out a new controll arm, it comes with bushings and a ball joint installed so it's a very easy swap.

Urethane bushings made a night and day difference on an S-10 of mine a few years back. When you install them too much grease is just right. Other wise they will squeek.
Energy Suspension urethane bushings are the best I can find.
A useful tip on install is to freeze the bushings overnight before you put them in.
