Within the month I will be selling my 1997 Chevrolet Cheyenne 3500 Pickup Truck which is 2wd and is standard cab with the 6.5 turbodiesel engine. It has an automatic transmission.

The truck is white, it has an aftermarket push bumper in front & functional unity spotlight, it also has an aftermarket large chromed rear bumper.

The truck has 144k easy miles on it, previously the truck was used as an animal patrol vehicle in a small Texas town (have "before pics" available). This truck has never towed anything. I purchased the truck about 6 months ago and had the service body which was previously installed swapped out for a regular pickup truck long bed. This is a southern truck with no rust. The bed does have a GM factory bedliner installed in it. The paint on the bed is peeling in spots near the top of the bed side, however the rest of the paint on the truck is better than average & all factory original. The truck hasn't been involved in any accidents in which body panels have been replaced.

I replaced the FSD/PMD a couple months back with a brand new unit from ssdieselsupply.com, it is installed with a heatsink.

The tires are good all around, the truck is riding on black steel wheels with chrome center caps.

The interior is in great shape, it has a vinyl interior with rubber flooring. The bench seat has no rips or wear.

The truck does have the air conditioning option, however this isn't currently working and I haven't diagnosed what needs to be done to fix it, there are no other known problems with this truck.

The truck doesn't leak or burn any oil or other fluids, it runs excellent.

I will take pictures and post them within the week hopefully, I just have to get my digital camera out on a nice day after cleaning the truck.

I'm asking $5500, I'm not looking for trades really as I have too many vehicles right now. The only reason I am selling this is that I have just bought a VW Passat TDI and it will be much more practical as my daily driver, I wanted something diesel but this is a bit much for my needs.

Please send me an e-mail at tradr@nyctaxi.org or reply to this thread if you'd like more info. I'm in Danbury, Connecticut and this truck can be shown almost anytime.

Thanks,
David

I took the pictures of the truck today, so here they are. The truck has a 4.10 rear end & one thing I forgot to mention is the passenger side mirror does have a crack in the glass.
