It's up the reader of the info in the following link to decide if it is fact or fiction.

fact or fiction? dont know.maybe the people in the story truely have had probs with the 6.0 in there ford.i do know that i have met and know many people who own them,i would say 90 pecent of said people were plum happy with the 6.0 .one thing i noticed was in the facts list the publisher stated that the 6.0 was launched in the fall of 02. i believe that to be false info,i never laid eyes on the first 6.0 in a ford till around feb or march of 03. i also dont believe the fact there is no issue or tsb on the cummins, open up the proper issue of a tdr magazine and one will see otherwise. makes me wonder if some pro dodge outfit didnt drum up the reading.
I frequent a couple Ford forums (yeah, I own a couple of 'em - Hi, I'm Mark, and I own a Ford) and the 6.0 PS is not without its problems, but from what I have read on the forums, the problems are nowhere near as bad as what that article is stating. There have been problems with the ECU and there have been a couple new versions of code released. I have also had people rant about blowing out head gaskets, but those were all on heavily modded engines and were running very high boost.
