ALLISON FILTER CHANGE

I went to a trade show today and talked to a allison rep.he told me to change my trans filter with only allison filters because the magnet will not work with the baldwins that I have allready purchased. Is this true?it does block alot of the holes in the filter.he also said to replace my trans fluid with transynd.My 02 only has 20k miles on it and I have not done anything to it. I tow a 12k 5th wheel camper.I have installed a 6gun from banks and exhaust from John.trans seems ok but for how long?
