Allison fluid change

Thank for directing me to topics that explain how to drain the fluid from Allison trans, but I have two question regarding the drain.
1- Disconecting the hose and operating the engine to expell the remaineng oil in the tourqe converter with low oil level would not damage the trans.
2- And for how long you operate the engine to draine that 1 1/2 quart from the converator.

One more question. while engine runing to fush the convertor, you keep the trans in P or N.

Doesn't matter, but leave it in P for safety reasons.
