Great stats. What would your average cost/mile be?
Also, how did you get 89K out of a set of tires???

Driving like you have a raw egg under your foot?
Average Cost per mile? The difficulty of that is deciding on what to put in the numerator!
Acquisition cost - 50,367 (includes all the bells and whistles I added)
Fuel - 13,693
Maint - 4,330 (everything from oil changes to wiper blades)
Insurance - ? I didn't split out the single vehicle
Depreciation - Unknown
With the above - $0.687/mile
Operating cost - $0.18/mile (again, w/o insurance and depreciation).
Once I get 1,000,000 miles on the thing, that Acquisition cost will drop to 5 cents instead of 50 cents per mile.
As to the 89K: with 6 tires on a 3500, rotating on a good schedule and 76K of those miles not towing (and the raw egg on the accelerator) and some good luck, I made it. I would have liked to gone to 19" wheels/tires on the change out but it did not work out that way.
