Importing the old board data into the new BB meant using either your old login name or your old displayed name as your new login name (which is also displayed in posts).

In the interests of contintuity and name recognition, it was thought that we should maintain the "Displayed Name" as the preferred login name.

However, things can be changed. Your BB names have been changed. :)
