California buyer

I am wondering if anyone knows if I can buy a used diesel from out of California? There are some nice rigs for sale, but I don't know if I can bring them into California. Any help would be appreciated.

California currently does not smog check diesels. It was easier to register my Waggy here than any of my other vehicles.
