cylinder cooling lines

Does anyone have an opinion, or any information, about #7 & #8 cylinder block off plates on the cylinder heads being connected together with a tee and connected to the water pump or a heater hose? Thanks

I think it's generally considered better to stick stock; if do draw from rear ports, it's said to be better to use limited flow, as 1/4" pipe fitts. There are relevant threads about, experiment with the "search" feature above.
