I have asked the same ? The answer I get is the proper one.... a detuned 2006 LLY, which is also a detuned 2006 LBZ. I was really curious when I saw the fuel cooler on my van, but LBZ has fuel cooler, regardless of what sales literature says.

So, I feel really good about this. If an LBZ is rated at 360hp and our vans are 250hp and engine is the same, this should make our vans bullet-proof for the long haul. :)

Not to jack the thread....but a funny thing about the vans. It seems everything is really different as in a P/U...with the dash and such. I almost ran out of gas the first time I picked up the unit to return it to the dealers (after the aftermarket stuff was done)...thinking needle to the right ...being full. While about 10 mi into the trip on a closed toll road...the low fuel light came on...this caused me to put my glasses on and see WTF.....also lucky that 19 mi down the road was a fuel stop to get some diesel fuel

I am a electrician and use it for work. 1st tank of fuel was 18.5, 2nd was 18.4 and I am still working on the 3rd. 1st tank was taking it easy like you should and not loaded down as much 2nd had more weight and more normal driving still easy on it though. I have gotten a little use to taking it easy so i will continue to do so until I can't stand it I guess or someone comes out with a program to give me a 12 second work van
