My 1984 "Beater Burb" leaked oil EVERYWHERE.

I replaced the front and rear crank seals, and re-sealed the valve covers, as well as replacing the timing set, and re-sealing the front cover and water pump cover.

The oil fill tube cap fit loose on the filler tube because the little ramps inside the tube where the cap tightens down were worn, as most are on these old units.

I cut off the top of the tube, and brazed a piece of a Dorf V-6 oil filler to the top of the tube, and now it uses a Dorf filler cap. It will be interesting to see how long that stays tight!
