I pulled the valve cover off at lunch and confirmed that I have 6.2 head with casting# 567. I also traded a 88' TH400 2wd for a 94' 6.5TD in parts (all there except for the heads, turbo, and IP ... block is toast. I did get all the turbo manifold, injectors, oil lines intake and all the other stuff.
Because my 6.2 block has no front cover or timing stuff I thought I'd swap that stuff over, install a DB2-4911 pump, slap it back together and see how it runs.
Anyone got any suggestions ... besides the stud girdle and DSG timing gears?
Does it have the 6.5 lower intake manifold? if so do you want to sell it? PM me if you do with a price. Thanks Trevor

You are doing a great job.
snoman, just incase you dont know.beaware that the bolt pattern is slightly different from a 6.2 waterpump and a 6.5 waterpump when you get ready to reassemble! a 6.2 water pump wont bolt up to the same pump cover as the ones used on a 6.5.[older 6.2's anyway]..
