Hello everyone!

Been away for awhile. My 94 6.5 has been flawless for over a year.....but I'm afraid I'm back

I had a weird experience the other day. My truck would actually cut out for a second twice in a row and then run fine, it did this two days in a row within 1000 feet of the same place after running perfect all day?? It has been cool for the last few days but nothing severe (60f days/low 30s @ night). After my truck surged last week, it now seems to be running 10-15 degrees cooler? Ever since I did ALL of the cooling upgrades, It has been a solid 195F, now this week it runs 170-180? Any ideas what is going on? I know the dmax fan I have could suck up a rat, but it didn't run this cool at all last winter or even when the engine was still new? I have a remote located PMD(Do many people have PMD problems in cooler weather?) There is one other new problem with the vent box under the dash it has a thumping noise for about 10 seconds after start and after shut-off? These are all weird happenings within a day of each other?

I appreciate your input as always.

Most sincerely,

Eric Selinger

I suppose if there was a big transmitter in that 1000' foot stretch, it might affect an electronic engine.. Try to repeat it...

Too cool... Could be a leaking t-stat or it might be related to the engine cut-out, such as a bad electrical connection - batt cables, grounds, connectors, etc.

See if the upper rad hose gets warm/hot before the t-stats should open.
