Clearance Lights

Hello everyone. I am pretty new to the forum and have been getting excellent information off of here with my 03 Duramax. My truck does not have clearance lights on the top of the truck. I want these lights on there. Stock lights would be nice, but I dont know if there is wires ran up there already or not. I would have someone professionally put them in. I just need to know if there are wires ran across the top, even if there are no lights there right now.

Don't know about the newer trucks, but from my vintage there was a separate harness that plugged into the main harness down the A-pillar behind the dash. I sort of doubt that there is a harness up across the roof without having the lights.

Mine were added by the dealer for $150 total.

I installed a set of cab lights on the '04 that I had, & the truck didn't have the wiring already installed. The cab light kit that I bought did have the wiring included, though.
