U-joint time

I have the squeaking issue when I back up (or go forward now) Goes away once I get up to speed but at slow speeds it makes the squeaking noise ESPECIALLY in reverse. I found on the forum that the part numbers appear to be as follows:

NAPA 295 (greasable)
NAPA 330 (non greasable)
Spicer 1410 (I think this is the same as the NAPA 330)

I "assume" the same u-joint fits in the front and rear correct? (Figure I'll get them both while I'm going)

I have used greasable u-joints in previous vehicles I have owned without any problems. I read on the forums here that greasable u-joints are not necessarily recommended. Any thoughts on that?

Final question. Do the u-joints need to be pressed in? (or out)

I recommend the Spicer 1410 sealed u-joints. This is what GM uses, and they are probably better than most other aftermarket varieties.

I would also recommend having the new joints installed at a drivetrain shop, if possible. They'll dynamically balance the shaft after the repair. I've changed lots of u-joints through the years using a shop vise and drivers, but it doesn't cost a lot extra to have it done professionally. :)
