You guys remember the new GM-8 turbo i got out of that auction i went to a while back?
I used it and found the TC4305 Garrett makes better power from 2000 rpm on up, and im going back to it.

Anyone want the GM-8 before it goes on ebay? It only has maybe 1000 miles on it.

(Moderators, if this is inappropriate, feel free to delete it and scold me, i figured more members would see it here.)

What timing! I have a "rebuilt" turbo that leaks oil... Email me and let me know what you want for it. rwthomas1 "at" yahoo.com Thanks, RT

Patrick - how did you measure the power difference between the two? Is there any mileage difference?

the power difference is this: slightly better power from idle to 2100rpm (give or take 100) with the GM-8.
MUCH better power from 2300 on up with ALL of the larger turbos i have used, the TC4305 Garrett makes what feels like the most power with the least boost pressure, so it goes back on.
The GM-8 gave the best mileage with my driving habits, i got about 30 miles more to every tank with it.

That, however, does not out weigh the power loss up top. (for me)
