Bio Diesel

Sorry if this has been thrashed before...

What is GM's stand on using bio-diesel in the DMax? Has any one used it? Results?

Not certain of GM stand, but I have to a burn 3% bio mix per Minnesota state law.

Up to B5 is recommended by GM. Any higher than that, and you're on your own.

I haven't heard of any issues with any % of bio (other than winter concerns), and there are several folks burning B100 out there.

I found out the Love's a few miles away was selling B20, so I drove up there and filled it up (about 1/2 tank) just to try it out. Didn't notice any difference in the truck, but I felt good about doing it.

It's a little out of the way so I won't do it regularly, but I'll probably go there once in a while.
