My PMD/FSD just took a dump again. The Chevy dealer quoted me $290 wholesale. Seems like I paid about a $100 less 60K miles ago. Tyler Fuel Injection says their's has been superceded by a new part number and they don't have any. Am leaving on a trip and need one today. I am an hour east of Dallas. Anybody in this area know where one might buy for less. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried snugging up the 4 nuts retaining the power transistors on the backside of the module?

Tried that first. This is that typical early Summertime Death that haunts us all. I think this will be my 4th FSD in about 200K.

You might want to look into a PMD Issolator there is one out there that carries 7 year free replacement part warranty. It will pay off if you plan on keep your truck a long time. I have 50K and 2 1/2 years on mine so far no problems.
