I was fueling up the D/A the other day at our local commercial card fuel dealer. I noticed a new sticker on the diesel pump. Basically said...Federal law prohibits the use of this fuel in 2007 models or newer. I also think it had something about 550 or 500 ppm and that the fuel could damage 2007 or newer models. This was on the standard low-sulpher pump. Anyone know what's up??

Thanks

As of June 1st. refineries can no longer produce 500 PPM sulfur content fuel. The new standard is 15 PPM. You probably won't see any of this Ultra-low sulfur fuel showing up at the pumps until October. They must use up all of the old "dirty"fuel first. When the new "clean" fuel arrives, the warnings will go away.

Thanks. I assume there are no problems anticipated for our older trucks when we switch over.
