The seat in my '01 LS was pretty well flattened out when I got the truck. Now its worse, and my back is complaining. It is also a manual.

My '05 LS seat is awesome in comparison - better lumbar support, better (electric) adjustability, etc. Both are standard grey LS buckets with flip-up/down center console.

How hard would it be to swap in and wire up an '05 from a salvage yard? Any ideas where to find one and what it might cost?

Running power shouldn't be a problem. All the controls are in the seat, so get power to it just like any other accessory.

I'd guess that the mounting brackets should be about the same and in the same locations. In my Toyota I went from a stock bench to some buckets out of a Subaru to a set of Recaro buckets. The two bucket swaps were pretty straightforward and only required welding up some simple brackets to adapt the seats to the truck's floorpan.
