Glove Box removal...Help

Jeez..I'm replacing the heater fan in a 95 sub. and I'm already stuck...have 1000 pages of GM service manual and no specifics on glove box removal!

Jeez....whats the trick?? dont want to break anything

There are two tabs that stick out that you can see before the box door is fully opened. Depress the tabs and you can get the box to come out further, then out of the hole.

the manual does not give up that little fact of releasing the tab! They show you a picture of the hinges.....jeez!

how bout moving this steel bar...any hints??? its a bear!

only needed to move the dreaded bar 1/4 inch to slide fan in,

Glad you got it out and fixed!

Mines a '95 too, had the computer out to ID the chip, so that's why I had been there.

After perusing the manual, i called the local dealer service dept for the same tip.
