no check engine light, turbo boost is around 12 @ 2000 rpm's.
( i just installed an IP)

Help !

96 k3500 6.5 5 speed

How does it crank, idle, and accelerate? I take it that is 5th gear pedal down max speed / performance?

it starts fine, idles fine and takes off at first fine.

after running thru the gears it wont go over 2200 rpm with out sputtering,if i stay under 2000 rpm's it runs fine.

even if i push the clutch it and rev it up , 2000-2200 rpms

no check engine light, i hooked up to a tech II and zero codes

What gives ?

Dead lift pump? Severe restriction in fuel lines or filter?

"i just installed an IP" Did it have any of these symptoms B4 replacing the IP? If not, a bad IP isn't completely out of the question.

"...it wont go over 2200 rpm with out sputtering..." Does it feel just like a gasser with an ignition miss? If so, I'd check out the LP system - sock in fuel tank, LP, OPS, etc. I'd probably check out the LP system anyway.
