Hey guys

Was just browsing threw a diesel magazine and saw and small feature about sway bars from Frederico Racing.

Anyone install these bars recently??

Are they any good, any improvment??

Pictures??

I haven't talked to anyone who's installed a set of these rear sway bars, but I imagine they would help when hauling topheavy loads like a pickup camper.

Thanks Jim!

I ended up calling and ordering a set of sway bars from Frederico Performance or Frederico Racing, website says both. They were very knowledgeable and the owner spoke to me for near 30 minutes, and on a Saturday talking about the differences between his bars and the others available on the market. Convinced me! :D

He even told me the US Border Patrol buys and uses his bars on their Chevy 2500/3500HD’s. There must be something to them to withstand that kind of punishment.

Price was fair and he is here in San Diego. Even said I could go and pick them up from him on Monday. I will keep you all posted on how they work since I am having them installed on Monday as well.

Had the bars installed over the week end. WOW what a difference!!!

The truck handles so much better even without a load on the truck. Truck is a lot more fun to just drive around. I didn't realize how wiggly the truck was before. Even the rear end doesn't chatter anymore when I get on it.

Guys Major two thumbs up on these.

Just wanted to post a picture of the front sway bar we took off. We cut it in half and the bar was hollow. In addition when we cut the bar in half all kinds of rusty water came running out and the inside of the bar was already rusting. I wonder how long it would have taken to just break.

The new sway bars are 1 1/2 solid up front and 1 1/4 solid rear. Far as I know they are only available as a front rear kit.
