The big blue truck rolled over 200K miles the other day. I had planned of getting a great picture of the speedo pegged at the magic moment, but I forgot my digital camera.

I got one with my crappy cell phone cam, but it dosent show much. You can see the speedo buried with the tach near the red line, but you cant make out the miles on the odo. Trust me it says 200000.0 right then.

And yes, my SES light is on. And no, I dont care.

Ha ha ha I have 4000 miles to go. Since the electrical troubles I've been having, I haven't been piling on the miles like usual. I have some catching up to do. IF the truck will make it.

Cowracer,
How fast were you going? I'm surprised that only the SES light is on.

I figure about 90-95. I was right smack into the warning zone on the tach (figure about 3600), but it takes my camera a second or two to snap, I had let off a bit by then.

Lordy, what a sound that thing makes!

Tim

PS The SES light is due to my MAP sensor plug that keeps popping off.

Howdy
I always thought that as a mechanical contraption there would ALWAYS be some part of the engine that needed "service soon", thus the SES light should always be on, right??? :D
Recently I had to have a buddy of mine drive my truck by the shop "at speed" just so I could hear it. REALLY sounds mean coming down the road as you can hear the whistle ahead of the rumble!
:D :D :D

I think it must be the green paint that makes em sound so cool....

Very Cool! If you are going to do this it may as well be under the cover of darkness.
