My Dads had his 94' 3/4T GMC 4x4 (5spd) at the shop becuase it wasn't running after he cleaned up some excess wiring. The mechanic got it running again at a very resonable rate but apparently the previous owner truck has made a few modifications that make it run without going through the ECM.

My question to you geurus is ... can we install a DB2-4911 pump and wire modification would we have to make or is this possible. The truck is running way too rich right now.

I don't think its possible to use a DS4 without the PCM, but maybe there is a way I don't know about.

Converting to a DB2 is a little more involved than just swapping pumps, but the manual trans trucks are the easiest to convert.
