I haven't been able to easily find a post to answer this Question. Is there any research on which settings produce the best Economy in a 6.5TD? Or is there a thread that covers the economy issue in relation to adjustments to engine settings?

You're referring to the TDC offset that most of us play with right?

The ~-1.94 offset is mainly seen in creating a little more power on the dyno, but nothing has been researched on fuel economy with just this modification.

Others that have had their vehicles longer to know the difference it made would have to contribute here.

There is nothing wrong with the standard offset, but an offset of say -1.25 through -1.5 might help in the power and response department...
