Fan Clutch Removal

Hey all.
I am trying to remove my fan and replace it with a D-max fan. I picked up a big wrench to for the big nut on the fan, when I tried to loosen the nut, I couldnt keep the whole engine from spinning.

Does anyone have trick to restrain the engine or the water pump hub from turning while I loosen the nut?

Save your money and keep the fan that you have. If you want improved cooling performance, change the water pump to a 1998 version and add my clutch with your stock blade.

I had the same problem with my truck. Had a 1 7/8" wrench on the nut and everything turned. I hit it quickly with a 3# hammer and she came loose!
