Anyone ever experience a "clunk" noise under the driver's floor board while turning. Just started to notice this noise (feel and hear) everytime I turn in either direction. I looked, but don't see anything that s loose. Any ideas? Thanks

I have a friend in TN that had the same problem on his new 06 LLY. It had to do with the steering. The dealer finally replaced the entire steering column and tie rods. The dealer had a factory tech come in and authorized it. Ed

Aren't the 06's LBZ's? Any way, we had the same type of noise on our 02. Never did find out what caused it. It would clunk when moving slow and turning left or right.

More than likely its the steering intermediate shaft still, I have an 04.5 and the dealer replaced mine three times. I hope they one day come up w/ a solution. Packing the shaft full of grease was there only solution. I finally tapped a grease fitting in mine and give it a squirt now and again. It helps, but sometimes still feels like my steering wheel might come off in my hands!

Aren't the 06's LBZ's?

'06s through early October of '05 were called LLY's and had the same power ratings as the earlier LLYs even though they apparently are identical to the LBZ as far as the hardware goes. I think they were waiting for the end of "employee pricing"...

Sorry about that, I do remember reading something now that you mentioned it.
