What would be a real good thread sealant for the head bolts ?

They should come with sealent on the threads out of the box. At least the felpro ones do.

As DD said, they should have a dry sealant on them already. Also, you should not reuse TTY bolts. Ever. Head bolt torque is greatly effected by the type of sealant/lube used during installation. The GM spec for headbolt torque is with the dry sealant, such as Fel-Pro (same as OEM). If anything else is used, the mfg of the bolt/sealant should have the alternative torque spec. They are not interchangeable.
