A guy I know just told me that he has a universal Amsoil bypass filter kit that he will sell me for $100. It is used, but comes with new filters, and mounting hardware.

I know how benificial a bypass filter system is, but don't know if I should get this particular one or not. Is anyone running one (Amsoil brand)? if so where is the best place to mount it? Any info/help would be greatly appreciated it seems like a good deal to me, but I'm kind of iffy.....Thanks!

Go for it;) Mount below driver seat.
I use the Badlwin filters. JK has the screw fiting for the By-pass filter in that the screw on hole is smaller than the Amsoil.

I mounted mine on the left inner fender between the battery and brake master.

You must of made a special bracket to mount the By-pass to?
