Accourding to the manual I have a block heater in my 1995 chevy 6.5. I looked in the book buy I have no idea where it is. Anyone? anyone?

Driver's side freeze (expansion) plug hole. Follow the cord to the end. If there's nothing connected to the heater, get a cord. They're detachable.

Drivers side of the block in one of the soft plug holes about midway in the block.
Its not a sweety to get to with the engine in the truck either.

I agree - I wouldn't try to get the plug from the top of the engine. But, from underneath the truck it's really not that bad. I replaced my cord a little while back and I don't recall it being a problem.

The cord is a snap. you can access it through the rubber flap in the left wheel house. The cord is easy, its getting the heater out if its toast that sux
