My ALT guage has all but quit working on my 2004 Duramax. Sometimes you start the truck up and it doesn't move. Next time I start it, it may move a few notches above the red on the left? It used to read about 14volts all the time.
Dealer checked it out and re-flashed the computer that controls them so they say. After that, the guage only read about 9 to 11 volts and they claim that's "ok". Now it has quit working and doesn't work at all. Will be going back to the dealer again later this week.
