As mentioned in a previous thread, I recently had my pump module replaced on my dually, during the course of diagnosis the mechanic found that my injector pump timing to be set at around 10 deg of advance and the mechanic states that it should be around 3.5 deg of advance...

Currently the engine has lost a bit of power since the module was replaced, so I am unsure if this setting is ok or reverting the pump back to the 3.5 would help the power output or hurt it... Any input will be appreciated, thanks...

What was the TDCO number?

Max Des\Act timing should be +8.5deg and TDCO sb max -1.95deg for best performance, observed with a Tech2 scanner.

im not sure, i didn't get to see the scanner, and the only info i have is what i already mentioned. The only way to find out now is to pay the money to have it scanned again.

Are you near anyone with an OBDII scanner or scanner software?

You'll need to get a fix on timing and TDCO numbers so you'll know where the problem is.
