when does the emmision compliant 08? dmax become available or order banks open ? i really like the new body and interior look.

Should be 2007.5, available beginning January 2007. Any order that delivers in 2007 should be the 2007 compliant Duramax. If, and that's a big IF (judging by GM's truck history), the GMT 900's don't start in time, the LLM will have to be available in the GMT 800. The EPA mandates the engine release, so there will either be an LLM, or no Duramax after the new year.

If you want one early, you better get your order in. The quantities available may be slim. There is no order timeframe. The delivery date will determine which model you get.
