Bad day for the 6.5TD, need advice on where to buy engine parts!

Engine started making some noise, by the time I pulled over, there was a hole in the driver's side valve cover!!!! (photos coming)

Got the truck home and starting tearing it down, looks like this is what I need:
-intake & exhaust lifter w/ pushrods (for cylinder on driver's side & closest to radiator)
-plastic retainer that holds rocker arm onto rail
-intake gasket
-driver's side valve cover

I have no idea what caused all this, just guesses... any one have any insight?

Most of all I need a source to get the parts, the dealer wants to sell a whole kit..

With that kind of damage, I'd pull the engine and tear it down to inspect for the cause. I'm thinking valves hitting the piston or something similar.

The plastic rocker retainer crumbled or fell out, resultant commotion taking the adjacent assembly with it - if the pushrods each have one bad bend, then probable contact with the piston

If not, inspect the camshaft lobes for chipping\galling - if not replace the #1 cyl valve train, valve cover , and go
