The turbo setup is different on a van but the 6.5 is pretty much the same as the 6.2
The 6.5 will bolt right up to the 700.
The electronics are going to be a job to transfer to the older rig but its not an insurmountable obstacle as long as you map it out and take it carefully it should work fine.
You may have to do a tad bit of parts jockeying to get the turbo all set up as the frame is different on the older rig and getting the exhaust down and out with the newer engine and parts will be a challenge but workable.
Go for it

It'll go right in with very few issues. You'll probably have to get a little creative with the exhaust since there's not very much space for the downpipe between the frame and transmission. The G-van has the turbo at the rear center so there shouldn't be clearance problems if your Blazer has AC, but if your fuel filter is on the firewall it'll have to be moved. I'd recommend using the factory fuel filter as the primary filter, and installing a secondary filter with a 2-micron element. Fabricating a bracket to mount them on either inner fender is what I'd do to make servicing easy. You'll have to install the electric fuel pump near the fuel tank. The new engine will have an oil pressure switch that should get power from an ignition-hot source, and the switch itself should be wired so it pulls in the coil of a relay which in turn sends power to the fuel pump. You'll have to run a line from the 6.5l's vacuum pump to your current vacuum solenoids, or you could install the 6.2l pump on the 6.5l and get rid of the belt-driven pump. Last thing is to extend any wires if their terminals are on the opposite side of the engine, such as the alternator.

PS - I wouldn't use the electronic injector pump, due to reliability issues. Either use the pump from your 6.2l - if you turned it up when you installed the turbo it should be good for the 6.5l - or else get a new mechanical pump calibrated for a 95 6.5l TD's power levels.

thansk for the tips.
another guy also told me to use the old 6.2 mechanical pump. instead of the 6.5 electrik pump.

what is the goods and baads for changing the 6.2 to a 6.5. is it worth the job and money or should i stay with the 6.2 with turbo and just buy new pump and injector for this engine.

how much more power is it in a 6.5td? what is the boost level oin this engines?
i boost 7psi on mu 6.2 diesel now. it runs fine but smoke alot and ond idle it rumbles a bit

The 6.5 has a 4.8% larger displacement than the 6.2,
that would more or less be the difference in power with
a similar setup regarding IP, injectors, turbo etc.
