Hi,
I have a 04 LB7 that has 35000 milels on it and I have notice it is leaking oil at front oil pan do you guys know if the duramax warrenty will cover that.
And my other question is should I be worried about the injectors on it I read alot of people that have some problems with them, What kind of warrenty do injectors have. Thanks for the help.

5 years or 100K. There is a $100 deductible. All GM Diesels have had this warranty.

'04 should have updated injectors, but if you have a problem within 7 years or 200K, it may be covered according to the VIN, or a specific issue (like a crankcase full of fuel or heavy smoke). The fuel system is still covered by the 5/100 engine warranty, and the emissions warranty (time/miles vary by state).

I was just under my newly acquired '03 and noticeed that it appears to have a slight oil pan leak. The truck has 82K miles on her, do you guys think I can get the pan resealed for the $100 deductible? Of course it has 10 quarts of Castrol synthetic 5W-40 in it with only 1,500 miles on it.

Couple of things that should be eliminated as the source of an apparent oil leak somewhere near the front of the LB7 engine:

1- Oil vapor emanating from the crankcase vent hose (front-passenger side of the engine) and then condensing.;)
2- Residual oil spill when changing the oil. The drain path sometimes runs oil on the aluminum skid plate. :(
