Hello All,
I am currently looking into either swapping my manual transmission for an automatic or just simply replacing the clutch. I want to replace the dual mass flywheel with a new unit. I would rather stay with a dual mass than risk having problems with a solid flywheel conversion. So this leads to the question: Anyone have any experience with South Bend clutches? They offer what appears to be a very high quality kevlar clutch disk with new PP and DMF. An interesting option is for a Kevlar pilot bearing. www.southbendclutch.com
What do you think? Thanks, RT

This past spring I had a southbend clutch installed in my 98, after going through 2 stock gm setups. This is a solid flywheel version, though, since that's what my 98 originally came with.

So far, I really like it - smooth action and good hookup.

Joe.
