I have an 83 blazer that I am putting a turbo 6.2 into. I want to get the 3" thick 2 row aluminum radiator made for the 6.5's. The radiator shops tell me that it cools better than the 4 row copper ones. I know I would need the resevoir tank and oil cooler. What else would I need for it to work in an 80's truck? Does its cool very well or would I be fine just buying the 3 row copper?

Thanks

The aluminum radiators are a little taller than the copper/brass variety. This would require a check for hood clearance and fan shroud mods. If going to a 6.5 alum rad, I'd also get the new 6.5 fan shroud. Surprisingly, the shrouds aren't all that expensive. New rads are about $650.
